I’m an English Literature tutor, working mainly with AP Lit students from American and international schools. I love digging into novels and poetry, and helping students turn their ideas into clear thesis statements and essay plans. I also review practice essays on Google Docs between lessons when needed, and I’m happy to suggest extra reading for students who enjoy the subject.

I’m an English Literature teacher at an international school in Riyadh and also take a small number of AP Lit students privately. I’ve taught classic and contemporary texts, from Shakespeare to Toni Morrison, and I’m used to school commentary and internal assessment style tasks as well. Sessions usually mix close reading, discussion, and timed writing, with clear targets agreed at the end of each lesson.

I work with AP English students who want steady, weekly support rather than last-minute cramming. I’ve helped learners who are new to the AP system adjust to the rubric, scoring, and workload. Lessons are usually one hour, with a clear focus for each session and a small piece of follow-up work for the week, and I’m flexible with timing around school, family, and extracurricular commitments.
